Nude rider on horse galloping to right, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left; to upper left, ΔI; below horse, AΠO[Λ/ΛΩNIOΣ]. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, holding trident in his right hand and placing his left on the tail of the dolphin; to left, Nike flying right to crown the oikist; below, waves. HN Italy 1038. Vlasto 894-7. Beautifully toned. Struck from somewhat worn dies and with numerous faint cleaning scratches on the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
